As electric cooperatives venture into a new era of the electric utility industry, attorneys play an increasingly important role in assuring continued success and achievement of the cooperative's business and community-minded goals. Issues facing electric cooperatives continue to become more numerous and complex. Now more than ever, general managers and directors rely on the co-op attorney for prudent and exact business advice.

The Electric Cooperative Bar Association (ECBA) provides a forum for attorneys to tap into the collective expertise of nearly 600 colleagues from all across the country with an eye toward helping NRECA electric cooperatives manage their businesses, their employees, and their members more effectively and efficiently than ever before.
